When I began training our puppy, Skye, in 2017, my love for training changed my career to the most joyous and rewarding profession I could have ever imagined!  I love helping dog owners and their puppy or adult dog to have the “sweet home” owners wish to have with their dog.

In September of 2017 Skye was just 10 weeks old.  Now I have an abundance of training experience and tips to share with owners of puppy or adult dogs which I’ve learned either through training at training centers, reading, and through trial and error of what I was missing in my training with Skye.  My desire to share what I’ve learned with my clients is my goal and reward so you won’t have the stumbling blocks that I’ve come across during training.

At 10 weeks I began training Skye at High Drive Dog Company in Longmont. Skye and I graduated Puppy Foundation, Basic Obedience, and Intermediate Obedience. I’ve also worked with Skye at Canine Fine also located in Longmont. Because of my love for training and the fun we share, I continue to learn with Skye high level skills taught by Laurie Buffington at Dog Days Training Center in Berthoud.

In 2018 I began training dogs belonging to Carolyn Fairbanks, the president of the Pet Association of Estes Park.  Volunteering for the Estes Park Pet Association I’ve been able to share my knowledge with others who have puppies or adult dogs that need training.

I know how difficult it can be with work, home, children, or being unable to drive to attend dog training off our mountain.  And so, my love of training has brought me out into our communities to help you train your dog or I will train your dog for you.

I continue to do research and learn more training techniques during my training with Skye every Thursday at Dog Days Training Center as well as online training courses to bring the right technique to your door and to various locations in town where training is essential.
